FDA Approved Clinical Trial on Stem Cell Derived from Patient’s Own Fat to Treat Knee Arthritis Will Be Conducted at San Diego Orthobiologics Medical Group!

Dr. Christopher Rogers and Dr. Mary Ambach from the San Diego Orthobiologics Medical Group are one of only 10 sites treating patients in a multi-center clinical trial for the treatment of knee osteoarthritis using a patient’s own fat-derived stem cells.  Personalized Stem Cells, Inc is sponsoring the FDA approved clinical trial, which is the FIRST EVER in the United States to study the use of a patient’s own fat-derived stem cells processed and tested in a centralized FDA inspected manufacturing lab.   In addition to treating knee osteoarthritis, the patient’s stem cells may be stored in this facility and potentially used for the treatment of other medical conditions in future approved clinical trials.

DataBiologics launched their world-wide Regenerative Medicine Registry at the Orthobiologics Institute (TOBI) annual conference in Chicago last week.

Founders Dr. Christopher Rogers, Dr. Gerald Malanga and Dr. Jay Bowen attended the conference and were excited to see the huge interest in collecting patient reported outcome.

DataBiologics is simple to use, practical and affordable which allows Regenerative Medicine physicians to track their patient outcomes and collaborate with other physicians from around the world.

Dr. Chris Rogers and Dr. Gerald Malanga, co-founders of DataBiologics met with Dr. Arnold Caplan (middle) at TOBI last week. Dr. Caplan was the first scientist to discover, characterize and name the Mesenchymal Stem Cell in 1991. All doctors agree that now is the time to collect meaningful data, so that we can advance the field of Regenerative Medicine.

The Orthobiologic Institute (TOBI) is the most widely recognized regenerative symposium and is attended by hundreds of physicians and specialists from all over the world. Dr Chris Rogers and Dr Mary Ambach along with fellow skilled specialists served as faculty at the Orthobiologic Institute Symposium and Workshops in Chicago on June 6, 2019.

Dr Rogers and Dr Ambach lectured on Lipoaspirate and Interventional Spine literature, science, techniques and proctored in the cadaver workshop lab to teach physicians from all over the world on injection techniques.
