What Are Orthobiologics?
ORTHOBIOLOGICS are substances derived from cells and cell products found in your own body. They are designed to heal bones, cartilage, tendons, ligaments, muscles, nerves and intervertebral discs. We use them to permanently heal injured tissues more quickly and naturally. Examples of Orthobiologics include platelets, plasma, fibrin, protease inhibitors, growth factors and stem cells.

Dr. Christopher J. Rogers is a board certified physician in both Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) and Regenerative Medicine. With more than 20 years of clinical experience, Dr. Rogers is one of the world’s leading experts in the field of orthopedic regenerative medicine, specializing in the non-surgical treatment of spine and joint conditions. He has developed new approaches for the treatment of tendon injuries, osteoarthritis and disc degeneration which provide safe and viable alternatives to surgery.

Edmund S. Evangelista, MD
Dr. Evangelista is triple board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Sports Medicine, and Pain Medicine. His practice focuses on the nonsurgical management of spine, sports, and general orthopedic disorders. He has extensive experience with advanced image-guided injection techniques, using fluoroscopy (X-ray) or ultrasound for accurate placement of spine, joint, and soft tissue injection treatments. Dr. Evangelista has a special interest and extensive training in Regenerative Medicine. He believes these treatments have tremendous potential for treating a variety of orthopedic and pain conditions.
Christopher Marker, DO
Dr. Christopher Marker is board certified by the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He completed his residency at NYU-Langone Medical Center in New York, N.Y. He is a member of the American Medical Shockwave Society. He has participated as a faculty member and has spoken at multiple Orthobiologics meetings while working closely with the pioneers of this field of medicine. His specialty interests include the uses of Orthobiologics (Platelet Rich Plasma, Autologous Bone Marrow Concentrate and Autologous Micronized Adipose Tissue Transfers) along with shockwave therapies for the treatment of various musculoskeletal and spine conditions. This holistic approach to musculoskeletal medicine allows the body’s own natural healing mechanisms to be placed in a concentrated form under precise ultrasound or fluoroscopic guidance to help decrease pain and inflammation, thus promoting healing and improvements in their functionality.
